Booting the LiveCD

The BFX2 CD uses GRUB as (graphical) boot loader. However, we noticed issues on a few notebooks. Since we don't know the reason for that, we offer a second CD which uses isolinux as (commandline) boot loader.

Using GRUB

To change/add the boot cheats, scroll to the entry with the most fitting value, press 'e' twice to edit the "kernel" line and press ENTER when finished and 'b' to boot with the new settings.

Using isolinux

If you press Enter at the boot prompt, BFX2 loads with the default settings (1024x768x16, us). If you want to change a parameter enter "bfx2 [options/parameters]". For example to switch to German language:

boot: bfx2 lang=de
